I just had to put it down. While searching for a decent lens store online, I came across LensKart. The store says that the product will reach us in 72 hrs. In my case, it came in just 36hrs.
There might be a plethora of online options for all. But this one’s for India. Free delivery within the country. Discounts for the common man.
But beware, who are going for a lens first time, always try a trial lens at any lens store at your place; or you can come across questions like base curve… dia…. etc for your lens. Other than the usual “power”, every eye has it’s own BC & dia. It can be judged by the ophthalmologist. Make sure you get the right one. Try on a lens. If comfortable, buy one online after the trial.
The store is definitely worth it once you get your right details as the lens are offered at discounts, where as the lens centre at your city will charge you the full rate and also will have limited models. He will take the same time, if not more, to give you your lens pack after order.
Last time I bought CibaVision’s Air Optix Aqua from a local lens store (Udani, Bangalore), it costed me 1500/- and took about 3-4 days to get the order. LensKart charges only 1200/- and took only a day & half to deliver!!!
Full points to the online store.
I’ve been on the biweekly Acuvue Oasys earlier. It was a great option for long usage. The monthly Air Optix is almost as good as Acuvue Oasys. The 1 day Acuvue is not to my taste as the lens are extremely thin and tough to put in the eye. The Air Optix & Oasys retain their shape when on your finger, unlike the delicate 1-day Acuvue. This time, from LensKart I bought the monthly CooperVision’s Proclear to try out new models. Let’s see how it works.

they say we deliver the product in 3-5 working days..thats bullshit..it took them 7 days to process my order and 5 days have passed after dispatch still no sign of product..moreover they are liars..they promise bluedart,DTDC or AFL but they sent mine using speedpost.
